To all,
Apparently the AOL Browser would not work with the FSR site. ( This much we all
knew) AOL has, as I understand it, made changes such that I could not use the
Internet Explorer I had and it essentially cut off what I was able to do prior
to the changes that were made.
In case anyone else out there has AOL and has been experiencing similar problems
getting into parts of the FSR website they should try the following:
With the AOL website running:
Go to
www.microsoft.com/windows/ie
Then download the free Internet Explorer 6 pack (This may take many hours)
Turn your computer off and then on again and wait for the setup to occur
Go online with AOL as you usually would
Minimize the AOL page
Click on the new Internet Explorer icon
Go to the address line and type in
www.fsr-inc.com
You should then be able to get into all the parts of the FSR website via the
Internet explorer browser.
I tested this and this is the ONLY way i can get into all parts of the FSR
website that i need to as an ACRA. If I try to do this through just the AOL
browser I can get into only certain parts of the FSR website.
Much thanks to Rick Richardson and such a simple fix too!!
Hope this will help whoever else is in my shoes with AOL.
